INT. THE SHOP - MORNING

Opens with demon's POV perspective scuttling around the empty shop
Its shadow crawls across on the wall

Cut to open

Birds are singing, and it is bright and shining. NINA walks in with a potted olive tree,

NINA
Sorry it's not much. I brought this olive tree because I couldn't really bring a barrel full of pickled olives on short notice.

FRELL
How big is it? I bet I could pick you up and those olives.

Shot with Nina, Blue and Frell all moving boxes in the shop

Nina: This is a lot of stuff.

Blucini: Maybe we could put the extra things in Frell's houseboat until we're ready.

Frell: You can't put your stuff in my houseboat.

Blucini: Why not?

Frell: It's full of MY HOUSE?

Blue walks in front Frell's bag and when she passes its gone

Frell stomps around. Rooting through blues things
Blue walks up and Frell spins around to point a frog finger in her face
Frell: Alright, hairball I know you stole my bag!
Blue: Wait- Why me!
Frell: You look guilty! Its written all over your face.
Nina: Calm down Frell, thats just how she looks.
Blue: Hey!
Nina: I'm sure you'd find it if you just looked around instead of accusing people.
Frell: What, Do you think it just grew legs and walked away?
Nina: Sighing No, Im saying you lost it.
Frell: I NEVER LOSE ANYTHING!
Nina: Doubtful look
Frell: Are you really siding with her instead of your only friend!?
Nina: You think you're my only friend?
Pause where everyone contemplates this
Nina has a expression like '-is she?'


Frell huffs.
Frell: Whatever. Whoever stole it, I expect to see it back on that table by the end of the day.
She picks up a box and drops it into a pile maybe a little to roughly
Maybe she tries to storm off but the shop is too small so she just end up stomping 5 feet in the opposite direction and standing with her back turned







Blucini: Nina, have you seen my keys to lock up the store?


Nina: Where was the last place you saw them? Did you check there?



Blucini: Yeah. Right here.



*skrithing noise*



Nina: Did you hear something? Hey, Frell, come over here. We need you.



[They're standing around a dresser, pushed out, leaving a dust halo on the rug.]

[There's a view looking out from inside of a hole, showing their faces looking inside.

Nina: This place has some issues.


Blucini: I guess that's why it was so cheap.
Frell: I can fix this place right up, I built my boat with my own two hands!

*hammering and sawing noises*

Nina: Okay, what works on a boat doesn't work in a store. You can't just nail planks over the holes in the walls. Where did you even get the nails and wood?
Frell: It was in one of the holes.
Blucini: That makes no sense.
Frell: Guys....? There's something in there!
Nina: DEMON!!

[She grabs a broom and brandishes it.]


Frell: I have some rat traps.
Blue: We can't get rid of it! He's been here longer than me, it would be wrong to evict him.
Nina: He'll bring this whole place down if you let him be.

BLUE AND NINA BUILD INCREASINGLY COMPLEX TRAPS.

BLUCINI TRIES CATCHING THE DEMON, BUT THE HOMEMADE TRAP EXPLODES INSTEAD

FRELL CATCHES IT WITH HER HANDS


Blucini: We could get rich training and selling demons! We'll make a fortune.
Frell: The one you have right now doesn't even listen to you. He's only safe because he's tiny!
Nina: And you only have the one.
Frell: And you didn't even catch it. I caught it.
Blucini: I'm trying my best, okay?!

Blucini waggles treats in front of it.

Nina: I got you a leash for it.
Frell: Don't enable her!! We're not keeping it.
