Leaving Party Astronauts and retiring from coaching (yes again lol).

I've been playing video games since I was 3 and it's always been my dream to make a career out of playing (or coaching) it professionally. But unfortunately I have reached a point in my life where I can no longer pursue Counter Strike as anything more than a hobby. I've only made a few hundred dollars doing this and I didn't care because I loved every minute of it. To me it wasn't about the money, but unfortunately, I need money to survive, just like everyone else. While coaching I cut my work hours and started going to school part-time so that I would have more time to put into CS, but doing so has set me back a lot and I'm at a point where if I want to progress my life then I need to acknowledge that I'm just not one of the people lucky enough to make it. It really sucks because I put a lot of work into it and I really thought I had what it takes, but it just wasn't meant to be.

I know I've retired before and came back but this time it's for real (unless I get an offer from a professional team with a good salary). I really wish this wasn't the end for me but it is. I want to thank so many people for being so awesome and accepting of me, for being my friends, and for making my time in the scene some of the best years of my life.

Thank you to the GOATs: Casey (SideStep), Julian (Hybrid), Bruno (Wiggy), Corbin (c0m), and Harim (Terror) for being the first people who showed me that pursuing pro CS coaching was a possibility for me and for being some of my closest friends these last 3/4 years.

Thank you to Ben (ben1337), Brenden (stellar), Robby, Josh (PwnAlone), Ian (Motm), and Drew for giving me my last chance at coaching, being incredible teammates, and actually valuing my opinion. I had my doubts about being a coach, and I didn't know what made a good coach but these guys constantly reminded me that I was doing good work and that meant a lot to me.

Thank you to Mike (agm), Colt (Base), Jojo, Jimmy (nurfed), Dane (Danejoris), Tom (TConnors), Ricky (Floppy), Ryan, Alan (Shakezullah), Josh (oSee), Cam(Hydrex), Mac and Mike (Darfmike). I've met a lot of people in the scene these last couple years but you guys are the people I've had the pleasure of calling my friends. Love you all.

And then I want to thank Casey again this time not for being a teammate but for being my best fucking friend pretty much ever since I started playing CS. We met in Matchmaking 4 years ago before we even knew league existed, had a great time playing with each other and the rest is history. I watched him grow so much as a player and even had the pleasure of coaching him on 2 different teams. I love this guy like 100x more than anyone else I listed (no offense) but you all probably already know that. We've made so many memories playing CS and I know we're gonna make more even thought neither of us are competing anymore.

Now even though I'm done competing that doesn't mean I'm done playing. I'm still gonna be on every chance I get so if anyone sees me online hit me up for some pugs, or matchmaking, or anything. I'm always down to game with the fuckin' homies.

I love all of you guys and this community. Thank you for accepting me and giving me a shot at making a name for myself. I've learned a lot of valuable lessons that I'll remember the rest of my life.
