Dear @PsyonixStudios, please listen to your consumers (RT if you want this too)

I would like to make a wish that I have seen a lot of people ask for.

Dear developers at Psyonix.
First of all I would like to thank you for finally introducing an esports shop to the game, which gives us the opportunity to support the orgs, the players, and you all at once. I think this is a great start to an esports shop with lots of potential, even if the items themselves dont look too appealing. This wish is not directed to you.

Dear marketing people at Psyonix.
Please reconsider your decision to make items in the esports shop part of a rotational sales model. Here is why:

-It can easily be interpreted as exploitative, since you are trying to make people impulsively buy items instead of giving them time to think about a purchase. You are pressuring people into buying things with a fake sense of limited accessibility. It is very obvious to a lot of potential buyers who will opt to not buy the items out of principle, not wanting to support and reward exploitative practices.

-Orgs will be unhappy, especially if more orgs and items are going to be added, since their revenue from this is limited to whenever the rotation puts their items on sale. If it takes weeks for the most desirable item of that org to appear in the shop for a mere two days. This makes their revenue dependant on a presumibly somewhat random/randomized algorithm. There is a reason esports orgs do not sell shirts and other merchandise in their own shops on a rotation or limited offer, they want their customers to have the full range at all times to increase the chance that they will find something they like.

-Everyone will be unhappy, if this potentially amazing shop will be removed due to not doing as well as expected.

Impulse buyers will still buy the items they like without thinking much about it, even if they had the time to do it.
Collectors will buy most of the items anyways and will more likely just be annoyed if they have to wait weeks to get their collection complete.
Careful buyers will no longer be scared away by dodgy sales tactics and will instead choose the items they like best instead of ignoring this feature entirely.
Hardline fans of one org will buy every single item from an org anyways, they will also just get annoyed if they have to keep checking to get their second pair of wheels.

So, please, PLEASE, Psyonix, use this chance to make more out of less: remove this feature to increase everyones happiness and probably not impact your sales much at all.

Note: As I said in the beginning, I love the idea of the shop generally speaking and would like to see psyonix and the orgs profit from this massively. I cant wait to see more orgs joining this shop and item variety increase over time, but I understand that it just takes time to implement that mass of items into the game.
All I and hopefully many more people are asking is to remove the rotation part of it and make all items available at all times (or atleast as long as an org has a team in a game).

If you do agree with this, please retweet this tweet so someone from psyonix might catch wind of it and atleast consider it.
