Hey Lysium, how did you become a Twitch Partner so quickly?

Many people look at my tick, check my channel, see that my stats are lower than theirs or lower than what they normally see for other partnered streamers in NA/EU. Here is my brief explanation for all of it so you don't have to suddenly start throwing shade about viewbots and etc.

1) I got my Twitch Partnership at 70+ avg viewers and 100+ subscribers.

2) Twitch Partner requirements vary depending on your country/region and in SEA/Brunei it is definitely easier to obtain partnerships when compared to NA. I personally know people from SEA who were given partner at 30 avg viewers, 30 subs and some even lower.

3) I spent almost 1000$ on Facebook ads/Instagram ads to put my stream out there.

4) I spent more than 250$ on Giveaways that were split into smaller 5$ giveaways on stream, sometimes once or twice a stream.

5) I played it smart and scheduled my streams well, once I felt like my average would be high for the day I would not stretch the stream for much longer.

6) I got lucky choosing the right game in the form of Dauntless. I became one of the most geared if not most geared Dauntless streamer in my time slot which allowed me to carry the fuck out of everyone who joined my queues which boosted my stats for a good month and a half.

7) I was tweeted out by the Dauntless developers on the official Dauntless twitter account and that definitely boosted my numbers for at least 1-2 days (100+ viewer peaks).

8) The top Dauntless streamers are featured/embedded on the Gamepedia wiki which, a few months ago, received thousands of viewers a day which is why my view count grew so quickly in a short period of time. If you don’t know what this means, basically, when someone visited the Wiki they would be able to see my stream like an advertisement which counts towards my view count. https://i.imgur.com/SsRh4le.jpg

Don't hate, appreciate.

Thank you!
