Explanation why Hungry and Paraa left the team some days ago

Before we start things off, this is going to be an attempt at a neutral statement to understand how it came to the situation a couple of days ago. We would like everyone to consider that there are always two sides to every story and just like Paraa’s (and probably Hungry’s) statement, this will also be biased to some extent, so you should be aware of that when you form an opinion on this issue.

After the Six Invitationals, 1UP promised to make a new offer for the upcoming Pro League season. In the end, 1UP didn’t deliver and we decided to play without an organisation. At the start of the Pro League season, we were contacted by organisation A that we had previously agreed on not signing with. However, things changed and understandably, Paraa and Hungry wanted to at least see the offer. The offer itself was okay on paper, but there is more to an organisation than money and we had serious doubts about organisation A’s reputation. We collected some more information and opinions from former players of organisation A and all of them advised against signing. We wanted to be sure that our next partner is trustworthy because we had bad experiences with other organisations in our past, which is why KS decided to leave the team if we joined an organisation which isn’t trustworthy enough.

At the same time we got an offer from organisation B, which was slightly worse on paper, but still acceptable. Summarizing our discussion, joining organization A would have been better on paper, but again, there is more to an offer than money and while the reputation of organisation B isn’t perfect either, it is still much better than organisation A’s (Obviously, this is where Hungry and Paraa disagreed). After having yet another discussion about it KS, AceeZ and ripz decided against joining organisation A, which is when Hungry and Paraa threatened to leave the team, if we didn’t join organisation A. Hungry’s and Paraa’s main reasons behind wanting to join an organisation as fast as possible were personal problems, that would have been solved, if we had an organization that would pay us. Nevertheless, they decided against the offer of organization B and also against waiting, which put the remaining players in a situation where they had to decide between either kicking KS or Paraa and Hungry leaving.

A very important decision, such as joining an organization, should be decided unanimously, so that no one ends up regretting signing a contract that binds him for potentially years. In the end, the team decided against signing with organisation A, which lead Paraa and Hungry to leave the team, bringing us to this moment.

Another point we have to address is Paraa’s criticism of KS as a player. In our opinion, his statement is heavily clouded by what happened outside the game. KS didn’t need to be micromanaged by Paraa and Hungry, he can deal with criticism and he certainly knows how to play in Pro League. He is a really important player, just like Hungry and Paraa.

the end, we are very aware that this move made the team weaker, but after considering everything, we didn’t see another way. Regarding the future, we will do our best to perform in Paris, but to be honest, our focus will be on rebuilding the team so we are back in shape for the second half of EU Pro League.
