Quitting VGC
I wish this was supposed to be a joke or something, but sadly, it actually isn't―I won't be participating any events until the end of the 2019 season.
And It's not about time, money, motivation or a bad circuit.
I just won't be able to.
So after the Korean Nats I've managed to claim a Day 1 invite, booked a cheap early flight. Lastly, since I am currently serving mandatory military service, I needed an approval from my superiors to go abroad,
which didn't go well.
Regulations say that I am not allowed to attend any prize involved tournaments. No matter what the purpose is.
There goes one of the biggest part of my life.
To make matters worse, for similar reasons, I won't be able to continue streaming until military discharge.
I apologize to my subscribers, followers, and all the people who kindly liked and supported my stream.
I'm terribly sorry to bring this news on such a short notice.
...Nothing much could be done about the rule, as a 21 year old Korean man. This week was immensely depressing. I was just not ready to lose them all overnight.
However, though my career as a competitive Pokemon player and a streamer will take a short break right here, this is going to be the end of nothing. I will definitely come back after doing my duty.
Lastly,
Thank you from bottom of my heart. I believe all of you awesome people getting involved in my life is the most precious part of playing Pokemon, and I'm glad it's not the thing I have to give up by this moment.
