My response to the /r/girlgamer community that I have been banned from.

A bunch of people in this thread who have never watched my stream making all of these broad assumptions of me based off of a few clips. Cool. I thought better of the /r/girlgamer community, oh well... I’m used to being shunned for no good reason and having all of my accomplishments and hard work undermined and being reduced down to “playing a dumb bitch girl gamer persona” yeah, I DID do that years ago whenever I was being attacked by the league of legends community pretty much their entirety and I was mocking their ridiculous views of women in gaming, the same was Stephen Colbert mocked Republicans ridiculous views on his old show. Most of you guys are way overthinking it, and even saying that I’m “degrading” myself for money, get a fucking grip and stop slut-shaming me, I thought you guys were supposed to be against that? Anyways, I welcome all of you to watch my stream and actually give me a real chance before acting like you know shit about me or who I am as a person. I thought the article did a great job highlighting some of my accomplishments and some projects I have worked really hard on as a streamer that I get absolutely no recognition for; I wonder what type of praise DrDisrespect would get for putting together a whole award ceremony, or making up a fake sponsorship as a gag to make fun of some of the shady sponsorships some streamers promote, putting together a whole weekly news show highlighting the gaming community in a satirical way, or any of the other countless segments I have done that have little to do with my sexuality. Honestly, it’s disheartening to be shunned by people who I felt would be more supportive of me. The double standard in the gaming community is UNREAL but pair that with the double standard women face in the comedy world. Not a big fan of Amy Schumer, but Amy Schumer gets so much shit for talking about her sexuality, she’s dragged as being unfunny and a hack, people just don’t like her humor; Louis CK has a ton of bits where he talks about his sexuality and masturbation and is hailed as being the best standup comic (not saying I disagree, just simply pointing this out)... Continue the slut shaming and reducing all of my success down to my sexuality. Pathetic. Thanks to everyone who showed me some love and support in the thread though. :)
