We've been forced into an unfortunate situation and must make a difficult decision regarding the Ting Open Season 4 Semi-Finals. Team Liquid's MaNa will be unable to compete going forward, and both us (BaseTradeTV and Ting) can not move our already locked in finals dates, combined with wanting to cast only live matches for the remainder of the tournament. We thank MaNa for his years of service competing in tournaments, and respect his position as a player, but while MaNa is a very upstanding player, and has competed in previous seasons of Ting, he doesn't stand immune from the rules of the tournament, and a forfeit at this point would result in severe punishment. We're not of the mindset to reward bad behaviour, but we're also not ones that like to punish good behaviour either, and since MaNa has not only excelled in the previous Ting Opens, but regularly shown up to other tournaments we host & sponsor for years, we're willing to provide a little bit of compromise.

We've come up with what we're going to be declaring an "Honourable DQ" wherein MaNa will be accepting a loss for his spot in the RO4, and allowing Impact to revive from his match against him in the RO8 to play going forwards. Impact will win reduced prize money advancing forward, as a trade off for his second chance to compete again, with the rest of it being redistributed (All the money still stays within the tournament). While this is not the outcome any of us wanted, it seems to be the best course of action going forward.
