I tried the Dawn of War 3 beta and honestly I'm glad I'm not covering it due to the continued Sega boycott. Various things didn't impress such as the lack of interesting unit upgrades but the end tier elite units drove me to frustration. 40 mins, I had the whole map, I threw wave after wave of the best units I had at this ork gargant thing only to have it blow up my entire army in about 2 seconds with some huge AoE cooldowns. I must have been doing something horribly wrong but this 'oh I know you have an army of end-tier anti tank stuff build specifically to counter me but I'm gonna murder it all in 2 seconds flat and your economy is irrelevant because my giant free death unit will just murder everything you build and get repaired before your next army arrives' did not leave a pleasant first impression at all. I'd killed his power generators so I could move on to attack his base turrets in that.. odd mode which basically just stops you harassing bases and not much else, but it seemed like despite owning none of the map the other guy could hold out indefinitely with his base turrets and seemingly invincible Gargant.

Does that count as coverage? Don't take it as gospel, I'm probably just shit at it, but there seem to be quite a few really deadly cool down clickies and powers in that game which matter far more than good position the way Dawn of War 2 liked to do things.
