Sceptical as some might be about a Valve PR stunt, bringing two people with large audiences in, showing them a bunch of mockups of updates the platform, letting them talk about all of them and then saying 'lol no we aren't doing any of that' would be a pretty poor PR stunt. Hey yeah let's waste an entire day of our senior devs time in fake meetings with YouTube people! Master plan there :P there's scepticism and then there's just being a dingbat and assuming everything is a grand conspiracy arranged by the dumbest people in the universe. Changes are coming, they'll take time but they're good and consultation is an ongoing process, not just a one off meeting
