I got a bit tilted :P (wall of text warning)
Firstly, apologies for getting a bit tilted mid stream today. There's a lot of frustrating stuff which I wanna get off my chest.
1. Change. Everybody changes, whether we like it or not. To the people who give the whole 'djarii isn't the same blah blah, she's changed' spiel, I want to say, that's a fact of life. We change, we grow, we adapt, we learn, that's just human. Now I've been streaming for quite sometime now, and while you may think it's really easy and simple, it's not. Streaming requires us to change, if you want to break through and reach the top, you're going to have to sometimes take it more seriously. It kinda hurts my feelings when people tell me 'you changed' just because I want to pursue the streaming thing for good, I know and always have known the person I am inside. The core Sophia is still the core Sophia, she's still a stubborn, foul mouthed, vulgar Brit who doesn't have any volume control. I've always been totally real with you all about who I am. I'm sorry you feel like it's sell-out, but this is actually my livelihood and I'll be damned if I don't do everything to keep my dream afloat. Also, the people who complain that I have my boobs out. Pls, gtfo the internet you virgins FailFish.
2. Viewbotting. Dear the retarded allegations that I actually viewbotted, it's tbh pretty laughable that I'm responding to this but hey, I like to educate the stupid. If I wanted to viewbot, quite frankly I'd try to get more than 140 viewers. I used to average 250 viewers back when I first joined Method in June (I also get around 500 when I'm drinking le alcohols). Since then it went down when I went to the US, I had a lot of life changes which impacted my stream and it's been kinda random. The truth of the matter is that I don't get a great deal many viewers when I stream something other than WoW and after I returned from a 7 day stream break when I went to Paris I haven't played much WoW - I tried Tom Clancy's The Division. I'm not good at riding hype trains, my title as variety streamer is less and less nowadays and closer to WoW streamer. I actually had less than 100 viewers after I went afk for dinner, but oh well, it climbed back up. The concept that I actually viewbotted to 140 viewers actually is so dumb that I wanna crack my head against the keyboard. The theorycrafting that my internet issues were affecting my ability to viewbot are also quite daft. For the record, Sco's parent's actually have better internet than I had in our apartment EleGiggle.
I know a few people been a bit 'butthurt' you could say that senpai didn't notice them or whatever, just because I didn't say hi to you in the chat isn't any reason to get upset. Believe it or not, I actually appreciate every single viewer that I have because without them I wouldn't be here today. It's kinda annoying to hear each time I don't see your message 'ermagehhhrd djarii doesn't like me, she ignored me! I G N O R E D FeelsBadMan' If I personally said hello to every new person in chat, I would say hello to SO MANY PEOPLE! I want to actually tell stories, be interesting and entertain folk, not spend every minute greeting you plebs lol! Please know this isn't ignoring you or being unappreciative, just handle it guys. I'm doing the best I can for you all.
It's really easy for anyone to find a reason to hate me, you could nitpick anything about me, "Doesn't care about viewers" "Boob-streamer" "Fucked her way to the top" etc.. The list goes on. If you're offended by my attitude or person, unfollow, move on, watch something else. Don't try and be spiteful to me, I'm so fed-up of it.
Anyway, shout out to all the amazing people who have and will support me no matter what. The list is too long to really list all those incredible guys, but truly, thank you. You know who you are team, and you fucking ROCK.
