I wanted to make my awards show the polar opposite of quick gratification list videos. It's "too long" by any traditional measure. It's a video in which I sometimes spend over 15 minutes on just a single award. It's a deeply personal project and it's what I would want out of an awards show. It's a response to the people that say "I'd like to see you do it better" whenever I rag on the vapid nature of some awards shows, but it was a response for my gratification, a personal indulgence. I made it for me, but it ended up being supported by so many of you. I am humbled and grateful for that and to @zoocdoesstuff who worked so hard with me to build it. No frills, nothing fancy, no budget, just one person speaking from the heart about video games for (sometimes) way too long. Somehow, that worked. It had been a dream so thank you for making it a reality.
