MFW after doing a Darkest Dungeon stream that got more views than every other stream of that game at the time put together. I realize that there's a sponsored event going on and a bunch of the other streamers are getting paid to play the game. Bumbling old me goes on randomly with it, gives a bunch of exposure to the title and it turns out I could have got paid to do it. http://i.imgur.com/Od74K3J.gifv - Oh well, it s a credibility thing. Since I fully intend to give it the WTF is treatment, I could hardly do that after taking money for a sponsored stream. The sad thing is, the sponsored stream would absolutely have made more than the WTF is will. It's not hard to "stay credible" when your income is good though. I don't blame anyone for taking sponsorship dollars from developers to give their games airtime, especially when all of these people aren't critics/reviewers anyway so there isnt an expectation that they won't to begin with. Was there even a point to all this? Not really I just found it very amusing that I inadvertantly was the biggest stream by a country mile, in the middle of a sponsored streaming event for Darkest Dungeon and had no idea it was going on :P
