1. to be more precise, “꽉 안아도 아쉬울 이 시간에” means their time together is so precious that even if they were tightly embracing right now, it wouldn’t be enough and it would still feel like something’s lacking (so it’s an even bigger crime that they’re wasting time just hesitating and waiting for each other to make the first move). “아쉬움” doesn’t have a direct translation in english but can be loosely defined as “a mingling of dissatisfaction, wistfulness, regret, pity, and frustration, all stemming from a sense of absence.”

2. “눈치 살피느라” means subtly searching each other’s eyes to try to figure out what the other person is thinking or feeling. in a nutshell, having good “눈치” means you’re good at reading the subtext of situations and knowing the appropriate thing to do or say.

3. i translated “시간이 아까워” to “the time.. is a waste,” but “아까워” doesn’t literally mean “waste.” it’s more like the sense of regret or reluctance at seeing something go to waste.

4. “baby please tell me exactly” is the only line that uses honorifics; the rest of the lyrics are informal. jonghyun is known for often using half-honorifics (alternating between informal and formal language) with fans, jinki, etc. and he has also mentioned on blue night that his heart flutters when someone else uses half-honorifics to him.
