For those of you with questions about the #TNTUpfronts
Dear Fans!
Many of you have expressed support and concern over what appears to be a lack of promotion and now, regarding the Upfronts, a lack of celebration and respect shown to Major Crimes.
Firstly, thank you for expressing your outrage and your love for the show. It does not go unnoticed by our company. We do understand and acknowledge that it is your commitment to us that helps keep this show growing and growing each season. In fact, Major Crimes has maintained and increased in its position of strength for TNT. They know this, they appreciate it, and we are secure in the truth of that.
It is not unusual for the executives and business leaders of a television network to decide not to bring the stars of some of their more successful shows to the Upfronts. The thinking in this style of management might be that these are shows we do not need to sell. They perform strongly, consistently, and are profitable. I am not speaking for Turner here, I'm just trying to interpret why the omission, for you.
The point is, we are fine!! We are thriving. And we are totally excited for June 8th. The incredible James Duff and his team of writers are giving us great, fresh, fabulous stories to tell. And our amazing crew, producers, and all, are having a blast!
Please continue to offer your unparalleled enthusiasm. And let's make our Season 4 premiere, our biggest ever!!!
