@rclarke Hi Robin, I've never spoken to you, it's a shame that this

Hi Robin,
I've never spoken to you, it's a shame that this is our first contact. Let me address your concerns. If you don't want to listen that's fine, but know that I came to you in good faith looking for dialogue.

"He has consistently supported initiatives by the worst elements of GG, from day one"

This appears to be an accusation that is unsupported by evidence. If it is a base assertion, then I would suggest providing some evidence, otherwise it is simply a meaningless accusation, which is not the sort of thing you should really be doing when your very next line is criticising me for making accusations.

This is what I posted on Day 1 - http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1s4nmr1
This was an attempt to make sense of the situation and an appeal for calm. I stand by what was said. It stated allegations and "Ifs". It focused on the issue of journalistic integrity and it very unequivocally told people to allow cooler heads to prevail. As much as you may try to boil a detailed and nuanced opinion down to something black and white, the evidence is there and it's not going away, so you'll have to forgive me if I believe you a little intellectually dishonest in this matter.

"Attacked ZQ for alleged DMCA misuse"

See above, in the Twitlonger which covered this DMCA misuse. I would use the term "abuse", since abusing the DMCA is at best immoral and at worst flat-out illegal and can result in charges of perjury. I am particularly sensitive to this issue, having had it used against me to censor my opinions in the past by unscrupulous indie developers as well as in larger unjustified copyright sweeps by companies such as SEGA. Please note the following line.

"With the insane shitstorm currently in the air it's impossible to know if that's actually true or not. If it is, it's bullshit. You do not do this, it is disgusting behavior and previous incidents such as Garrys Incident and Guise of the Wolf that resulted in the public obliteration of the developers reputation should be reason enough not to. "

I find based on this information, that your definition of "attack" is somewhat misguided.

"Signed up to a pro-GG Thunderclap"

Indeed I did. You know what it said? "“I support ethics in gaming journalism, creative freedom and inclusiveness."
Are you suggesting that promoting such ideals is a bad thing? I can understand your concern if I said something like "I support the harassment of women" but from Day 1 I have publicly said the exact opposite.
"tried to cast doubt on death threats"

[citation needed]. I'm going to assume that you are referring to my advice that I gave out regarding death-threats and de-escalation, based on my personal experience with death-threats and swatting. It would require some fairly severe mental gymnastics I feel to equate this advice to "casting doubt on death threats". I have never at any point stated that any of the death threats received during this time have been false, indeed I believe them to be true because I've seen how quickly people are willing to resort to such things and have experienced them first hand. Naturally after issuing this advice I was told by several people that my real experiences with death threats do not matter. I presume they believed my penis could magically deflect bullets and knives or something.

"endorsed GG "antibullying" charity drive"

Now you're going to have to help me out a little here. So, you seem to be implying that giving a sizeable gift of my own to a credible anti-bullying charity and helping to drive over $5000 in donations to said charity over the course of a day is a bad thing. I think PACER will certainly disagree with that. Why the inverted commas exactly? Do you believe that donating money to an anti-bullying campaign is somehow some dastardly plan? To what end? I objected to Sam Biddles remarks and put my money where my mouth is. Actions speak louder than words after all. If you are seriously trying to twist that into a negative then perhaps I should hand over my "cynical" mantle to you because you've got me beat by a country mile.

"yesterday guested on a stream with cowardly YTers who stalk, defame and harass women."

That's called dialogue. As I have from Day 1, I have used my influence to appeal for calm and focus on ethical issues while attempting to deescalate the situation. Anyone that listened to that stream will know that I came on to discuss ethical issues and give advice on how to focus the movement to positive ends. I'm sorry that you don't like these people, I don't care much for some of them either but I believe in diplomacy and I believe in dialogue, not inflammatory rhetoric.
If you need further proof of calls for calm, feel free to read my blog on the subject from many weeks ago. http://blueplz.blogspot.com/2014/08/this-game-supports-more-than-two-players.html

"TL;DR: he's an assclown."

British people don't use the word assclown, you are an embarrassment to the nation. Now now, that's a joke, don't fly off the handle.
In conclusion: I find your allegations to lack substance. I have read widely on this subject for the last 3 months and I am confident that I understand all sides. I am against guilt by association just as I am against harassment and exclusionary tactics regardless of who might be using them. My "side" is that of being reasonable and engaging in civilised discussion and I will continue to do that. If you wish to continue to attack me for it go ahead, but you'll need to take a number.
Best Regards.
