I have so enjoyed this final season of @HIMYM_CBS, which concludes this coming Monday night. They are not trying to rush the finale. Indeed, the entire last season, which takes place over only a few days time, can be regarded as one, long, extended finale. Crammed full of the convoluted, origami narratives for which the show has earned well-deserved kudos, the final season is setting a new standard for rich and meaningful closure, suffusing the many story lines--at times zany and other times shockingly poignant--with easter eggs that reward fans for nearly ten years of faithful viewing and reveal that the writers have not only been paying attention from episode one, but are as in love with these characters as we are. Well done, @CarterBays and @HimymCraig. You and yours will be missed.
