PYGMY REVIEW of #EndersGame: Given the constraints imposed upon it, most notably the necessity to compress a sprawling temporal and emotional timeline into just a couple of months (and, obviously, a couple of hours), "Ender's Game," with a few itchy exceptions, comes off quite well. It's been 25 years or more since I've read the book, and I cannot be sure what comes from the original source material and what might have been changed for the film, but I found myself pleasantly behind the plot at several points, and very much enjoyed its provocative themes, dark psychology, strategic lethality and fraternal bonds.
