Is it possible to claim god does not exist? Within reason, yes. It's called the null hypothesis. One does not accept all claims automatically. The default is non-acceptance. The reason one can safely say "God does not exist" is the exact same reason one is safe saying "Bigfoot does not exist." The more fantastic the claim, the more robust the evidence required for that claim. If one is incapable of producing such evidence, the only rational response is suspension of belief. The irrational response is acceptance of the claim on faith. If that doesn't trouble you, very well. But do not be surprised that others do not see it that way and resist your efforts to influence their lives based on that belief. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIcUpIufFdA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
