“We call them acts of god," said #PatRobertson about the tornado that hit Oklahoma yesterday, "but they’re not.” No, Pat, “we” don’t call them acts of god, but you certainly do. Every major disaster for the last decade has been the outpouring of god's wrath for abortion or homosexuality or kicking god out of schools. But when a tornado hits a small, Bible-belt town, it's a just a violently rotating column of air in contact with the surface of the earth? And if, as you said, “Jesus could’ve stilled the storm” then shouldn't you be asking yourself why he didn't? The residents of #Moore "weren't praying enough," huh? Blame the victims--classy, Pat, classy. As JT Eberhard said, "You know the saying, 'All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing?' Ditto for gods." Fuck you, Pat.
