I love how nature balances things out, ensuring that for nearly every small and adorable animal, there exists a massive and terrifying version. No one's afraid of a Goldfish, but a Great White shark is a different story altogether. The common house cat doesn't scare us, but a Bengal tiger certainly does. Geckos are cute, but I don't want to run into a Komodo Dragon in a dark alley. Hummingbirds? No problem. A Golden Eagle with a nearly seven-foot wing span? Run away.
