Not sure which part disturbs me more--that "In [that] part of the country, it's not uncommon for a 5-year-old to have a gun," or that the mother would say, "It was God's will. It was her time to go, I guess." One of these days, someone is going to have to explain to me how the same crowd that uses the "personal responsibility and safety" refrain is also the same crowd that gives children guns as presents. http://edition.cnn.com/2013/05/01/us/kentucky-accidential-shooting
