MC: Once you guys receive scripts, you may compete again each other.
Minhyuk: We don't compete, just we read it together if we receive scripts. What the story is, what kind of drama it is.
We apply audition by oneself and together sometimes. two or three people together, even all of us may apply together.
If we like it and if our company like it, anyone who want to do it apply the audition together.
MC: What drama did you guys apply together?
Minhyuk: It's so old story, Yonghwa hyung's 'You're beautiful', I took the audition too.
For Jonghyun hyung's 'A gentleman's dignity', I've attended the meeting only.
MC: You are studying that much, then do you monitor other member's drama?
Minhyuk: Yes. We are monitoring well to each other.
MC: What do you say?
Minhyuk: Since four men are living together, we never praise, we just make fun of others.
MC: Ah, you make fun of others. How?
Minhyuk: My first appearance in 'My husband got a family' was a club scene. I raised my hand saying 'I will!'. I was so nervous, I raised three fingers only.
MC: Like this?
Minhyuk: I wasn't strong enough, so I did 'I will!' like this. Members saw it and posted that photo. Whenever they saw me at concert or TV show, they do this to me.
Once, while we were doing a concert, suddenly Yonghwa turned around toward me. I was playing the drums. He did this to me.
I almost threw stick to him because I was so angry.
MC: Then, when you make fun of others, what do you do?
Minhyuk: Jungshin is acting well at 'My daughter Seoyoung'. He is very good at tearing scene.
His eyes are originally big, but when he acts those scene, his eyes got much bigger. I captured that scene and posted it at our chatting site, typing 'Jungshin, you cry well.'
We are living like this making fun of each other.

MC: You guys are all very stylish now, but maybe you were not at first. How was your first impression to other members?
Minhyuk: From the first, Yonghwa hyung made me think, 'Is it an actor audition?'. He was wearing a long checked coat, with fair skin, he looked like a prince.
Jonghyun hyung was wearing training suit, had short hair and was speaking in hard dialect. He was like a next door brother.
Jungshin was, his hair was very impressive. He had his hair lifted up a lot. It looked like shrimp sushi. You know the shrimp put on the rice?
MC: It's put on the steamed rice.
Minhyuk: It was very impressive.
MC: He must be hard to make it.

Minhyuk: When I learned drums first, I was lack of power. So I worried a lot. My teachers told me a lot too that I needed to strengthen the power.
I thought it's not that drums should be played by power only. Playing accurately is also important, so I practiced more to that.
MC: So, are you thinking of making your body bigger, making muscles on your arms, so that you can lift up your sleeves?
Minhyuk: When we're doing concert, I felt so hot. We're performing 25 songs. So I took off my jacket, lifted up the half sleeves.
After the concert, I was told, 'You lifted it on purpose!' by our company people and who watched the concert.
On the next day concert, I found myself lifting it again, suddenly I reminded the words I heard, so I pulled it down again.
But after the concert, I found my sleeves lifted up. I did it unconsciously. But they say my arms look okay.
If you come to our concert, you can see me take off jacket and lift up sleeves. We have concert in May in Korea.
MC: May?
Minhyuk: Please be sure to come.
MC: Will it be sold out so we can't buy it if we don't hurry?
Minhyuk: The ticketing is not open, but if it open, you'll be difficult to buy. Please hurry to purchase.
MC: Ha ha ha you're witty.

MC: 대본이 오면 서로 하고 싶어서 경쟁할 수도 있을 것 같아요.
민혁: 경쟁은 안하고요, 대본이 오면 다같이 봐요. 어떤 내용인지, 어떤 드라마인지 같이 훑다가.
오디션을 개인적으로 볼 때도 있지만, 같이 볼 때도 있어요. 두 명이나 세 명이, 전부다 볼 수도 있고.
우리 마음에 들거나, 회사에서도 괜찮다고 생각되면, 하고 싶은 사람은 다 봅니다.
MC: 뭐를 두 명이상이서 같이 봤나요?
민혁: 되게 옛날인데, 용화형이 미남이시네요 라는 작품을 할 때 저도 같이 오디션을 봤어요.
'신사의 품격' 이라는 종현형 작품은 저도 잠깐 미팅에만 참석했습니다.
MC: 그럼 서로 그렇게까지 공부를 했으니까, 다른 멤버들의 작품에 대해서 모니터도 해주나요?
민혁: 네, 저희는 정말 모니터 잘 해주는 편이예요.
MC: 뭐라고 말씀해주시나요?
민혁: 남자 네 명이서 같이 살다 보니까, 칭찬은 잘 안하고요, 놀리기만 하죠.
MC: 아, 놀리는군요. 어떻게?
민혁: '넝쿨째 굴러온 당신' 에서 제가 처음 등장하는 장면이, 클럽씬에서 '저요!' 하면서 손을 드는 장면인데요.
제가 너무 긴장해서 세 손가락만 들었어요.
MC: 이렇게요?
민혁: 힘이 없어서 '저요!' 이랬는데. 멤버들이 그걸 보고, 사진을 찍어서 올리고. 콘서트나 방송에서 저만 보면 이러더라고요.
콘서트를 하는데, 용화형이 연주를 하다가 갑자기 저를 보더라고요. 저는 드럼을 치고 있었는데, 저한테 이러는 거예요.
저는 드럼스틱을 앞으로 던질 뻔 했어요. 너무 약이 올라서.
MC: 그럼, 민혁씨가 다른 멤버를 놀릴 땐 뭘로 놀리나요?
민혁: 정신이가 요즘 '내 딸 서영이'에서 열연을 하고 있는데, 눈물 연기를 너무 잘하더라고요.
원래 눈이 크기 때문에, 그 때는 눈이 정말 커지더라고요. 그걸 제가 캡쳐를 해서, 단체 messenger 창에 띄웠죠. '정신아, 잘 울더라?'
저희는 그렇게 놀리면서 지내고 있습니다.

MC: 지금이야 다들 세련되어지고 멋있지만 처음에는 안그랬을 것 같거든요? 첫인상은 어땠습니까?
민혁: 용화형은 처음 봤을 때부터 '배우 오디션인가?' 라고 생각했을 정도로, 체크무늬 긴 코트에, 뽀얀 피부에, 왕자 같은 느낌을 받았어요.
종현형은 트레이닝복에 머리도 짧고 사투리를 구수하게 하니까, 동네 형 같은 느낌이 들었어요.
정신이는 처음에 머리가 굉장히 인상 깊었어요. 머리를 많이 올려서 새우초밥처럼 했어요. 쌀 위에 새우가 올려져 있잖아요?
MC: 밥 위에 올려져 있죠.
민혁: 되게 인상 깊었어요.
MC: 일부러 만들기도 어려웠겠네요.

민혁: 처음에 드럼을 배울 때는 힘이 부족한 편이어서 많은 고민을 했어요. 선생님께서도 힘을 많이 길러야겠다는 말씀을 많이 하셨어요.
저는 드럼을 꼭 힘으로만 쳐야 되는 건 아니라고 생각했어요. 정교하게 치는 것도 한 부분이라고 생각해서 그런 쪽으로 연습을 했죠.
MC: 혹시 지금도 몸에 키워서 팔에 근육을 만들어서, 소매를 걷어올리고 싶은 생각이 듭니까?
민혁: 제가 콘서트 하는 도중에, 너무 더웠어요. 25곡을 연주하다 보니까 너무 더워서 윗옷을 벗고, 반팔 티셔츠의 소매를 올렸어요.
공연 끝나고 나니까 '너 일부러 올렸지?' 그러는 거예요. 회사 사람들과 공연을 본 사람들이.
다음 날 공연 때 저도 모르게 또 올리더라고요. 갑자기 사람들의 말이 생각나서 다시 내렸어요.
그런데 공연이 끝나고 보니까 소매가 올라가 있더라고요. 답답하니까, 무의식중에 소매를 올리게 돼요.
근데 제 팔뚝이 보기에 괜찮다고 하시더라고요.
저희 콘서트에 오시면, 제가 윗옷을 벗거나, 소매를 걷는 모습을 보실 수 있습니다. 5월에 한국에서 콘서트 합니다.
MC: 5월?
민혁: 꼭 와주시기 바랍니다.
MC: 매진이 되기 때문에 빨리 안사면 못사는 것 아니예요?
민혁: 아직 ticketing을 안했지만, 열리게 되면 사기 힘드실 거예요. 빨리 예매하시기 바랍니다.
MC: 하하하 재치덩어리.
