While I could have voted by mail, I confess I like standing in line to cast my ballot on election day. I enjoy the energy and the sense of community I feel when joining together with total strangers who are also, by extension, my neighbors and my fellow countrymen, to participate in the most sacred rite we have as Americans. And please remember, that no matter who you voted for today, and no matter who will be president next January, it is not the end of the world. Give your country a little credit. America is stronger than any single president.
