My friend, Craig Detweiler's review of #TheMaster is perhaps the best and most illuminating I have yet read. I saw the movie a week ago and have been chewing on it ever since, trying to decide whether or not I liked it, whether or not it succeeded in coming to "a point" before the credits began to crawl, whether or not its technical brilliance was matched by a less decidedly less blatant though perhaps no less robust philosophical brilliance.
