#AaronSorkin’s #TheNewsroom is like two shows in one — the liberal wet dreams and revisionist history of #TheWestWing mashed together with the airy breeze and screwball antics of #SportsNight. Tonally discordant and, as a result, awkwardly unbalanced, I am forced to admit that holistically, it doesn’t quite work. And yet there is no way I will stop watching. Even great and gorgeous things have flaws.
