i keep thinking of something. shadrach, meshach, and abednego. i don't expect the person who is not a Christian to care at all about what i am about to say. i am speaking to the Christian here. you know the story, those uncommon men would not bow to the king. so the fire was turned up SEVEN TIMES HOTTER. and still, they would not bow to anything other than the True and Living God.
God is so mysterious in how He works. and a Master strategist. so often, we are asked to risk all before we receive the blessing. but the whole time God intends to give us the very thing that seems to be slipping away. with only one requirement: unwavering obedience. i don't mean perfection, but the very allegiance of the heart, mind, and soul, is God's. and His alone. He is a jealous God. again, abraham comes to mind. boom here's isaac, FINALLY. joy. then: God says, " give him to Me." then: in essence God said: I wanted your heart, your whole heart, and I have it. your son is spared, you may keep the gift, the promise."
which takes me back to the beginning. don't be surprised if, on the way to your impossible things, everything seems to be unraveling, an opposite world than what you wished for seems to be reality. don't worry, it's just the devil having a temper tantrum. he thought you would compromise as hot tears roll down your face.
he was wrong, stay the course. the promise is at hand. ♥
