PENTECOSTAL THIRD WAVE INCLUDING LEE GRADY STEVE STRANG PAT ROBERTSON PAUL CROUCH BENNY HINN JOHN ARNOTT BILL JOHNSON TODD BENTLEY PAT KING AND FRIENDS ARE OFF THE WALL

CHARISMA MAGAZINE UNDER ITS FOUNDER STEVE STRANG HAS A VERY BAD TRACK RECORD OF SUPPORTING WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING SINCE IT'S INCEPTION INCLUDING BENNY HINN, JIM BAKKER, PAUL CROUCH, TODD BENTELY, RODNEY HOWARD BROWNE, KARL STRADER AND MANY OTHERS

Grady goes on to bemoan the fact that leading Pentecostal ministers are seduced by money and worldly lifestyles.

” Charisma magazine, the international American mouthpiece for the contemporary Pentecostal movement, is struggling with the image of Christian leaders in the marketplace these days.

There’s been a little bit too much bad publicity lately. ‘Miracle-working’ evangelists seem to have the same hang-ups with adultery as the sinners who are going to hell. Veteran Charisma contributor J. Lee Grady, whose column “Fire In My Bones” is a regular feature, addressed the problem provacatively on August 4, 2010, with an essay entitled: “SAY GOODBYE TO THE UNTOUCHABLE PREACHERS”. He starts out boldly making the obvious comparison between preachers and mobsters: http://www.charismamag.com/index.php/fire-in-my-bones/29039–say-goodbye-to-the-untouchable-preachers

Grady goes on to bemoan the fact that leading Pentecostal ministers are seduced by money and worldly lifestyles. This wasn’t even news 20 years ago, when the world saw Jim Bakker of PTL fame weeping as he was dragged off into a patrol car. He eventually served serious jail time. Many readers posting comments on Grady’s article make the same observation, as well as noting that the essay remarkably doesn’t ‘name names’. People suspect there might be an issue of ‘conflict of interest’ involved, since almost all of the big names in God’s TV world place huge ads regularly in Charisma magazine.

As long as we are alive and sentient, each of us still has time to repent, and to make reparation for our own sins and those of others. See how incredibly often St. Paul in his voluminous letters repeatedly warned Christians against committing sin. He would not have felt compelled to do so, if their sins could not exclude them from heaven. He would not have bothered. And he would have been much more popular, rather than being largely abandoned at the end of his life.

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1st John 1:8
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…” 1st Thess. 4:3

God is shaking His church and removing corruption. But we share the blame for giving charlatans a platform.

Al Capone once controlled all of Chicago. The notorious 1920s gangster bribed the city's mayor, bought the police and presided as king over an empire of casinos, speakeasies and smuggling operations. He dodged bullets for years and lived above the law—and earned the nickname "untouchable" because no one could bring him to justice.

Before Capone finally went to prison in 1932, he justified his crimes by saying: "All I do is satisfy a public demand." He didn't take responsibility for the pain he caused because he knew mayors, policemen, community leaders and bootleggers supported him the whole way.
"There is no way we can know how many unbelievers rejected the gospel because they saw the church supporting quacks who swaggered, bragged, lied, flattered, bribed, stole and tearfully begged their way into our lives—while we applauded them and sent them money."

I hate to compare any minister of God to a gangster. But the sad truth is that today there are a handful (well, maybe more) of unscrupulous preachers who share some of Capone's most disgusting traits. They are notoriously greedy. They are masters of deception and manipulation. They have bought their way into the charismatic religious subculture and used their uncanny hypnotic ability to control major Christian TV networks.

And, like Capone, their days are numbered. Justice will soon catch up with them.

These false prophets probably all started out with a genuine call from God, but success destroyed them. They were lured away from true faith by fame and money, and when their ministries mushroomed they resorted to compromise to keep their machines rolling. Now, in the midst of the Great Recession, God is closing in on them.

But before we rejoice that these imposters are being removed from their pulpits and yanked off the airwaves, let's hit the pause button and reflect. How did these false preachers ever achieve such fame? It couldn't have happened without help from us.

We were the gullible ones. When they said, "The Lord promises you untold wealth if you will simply give a thousand dollars right now," we went to the phones and put the donations on our credit cards. God forgive us.

We were the undiscerning ones. When they said, "I need your sacrificial gift today so I can repair my private jet," we didn't ask why a servant of God wasn't humble enough to fly coach class to a Third World nation. God forgive us.

We were the foolish ones. When it was revealed that they were living in immorality, mistreating their wives or populating cities with illegitimate children, we listened to their spin doctors instead of demanding that ministry leaders act like Christians. God forgive us.

We were the naïve ones. When they begged for $2 million more in donations because of a budget shortfall, we didn't feel comfortable asking why they needed that $10,000-a-night hotel suite. In fact, if we did question it, another Christian was quick to say, "Don't criticize! The Bible says, ‘Touch not the Lord's anointed!'" God forgive us.

We have treated these charlatans like Al Capone—as if they were untouchable—and as a result their corruption has spread throughout charismatic churches like a plague. Our movement is eaten up with materialism, pride, deception and sexual sin because we were afraid to call these Bozos what they really are—insecure, selfish, egotistical and emotionally dysfunctional.

If we had applied biblical discernment a long time ago we could have avoided this mess. There is no way we can know how many unbelievers rejected the gospel because they saw the church supporting quacks who swaggered, bragged, lied, flattered, bribed, stole and tearfully begged their way into our lives—while we applauded them and sent them money.

When well-meaning Christians quote 1 Chronicles 16:22 ("Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm," NASB) to cover up corruption or charlatanism, they do horrible injustice to Scripture. This passage does not require us to stay quiet when a leader is abusing power or deceiving people.

On the contrary, we are called to confront sin in a spirit of love and honesty—and we certainly aren't showing love to the church if we allow the charismatic Al Capones of our generation to corrupt it.

FALSIFIED: WORD FAITH PROSPERITY GOSPEL

By Ken Silva pastor-teacher on Mar 26, 2012 in Current Issues, Features, Word Faith

For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain. (Titus 1:10-11)

They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.
(Titus 1:16)

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. (Jude 3-4)

[Vincent] TV preachers are very slick, and the majority of them are leading masses astray, supposedly using Scripture to back up their claims. Men and women are on national and worldwide television “preaching” that God wants everyone to always be healthy and wealthy therefore resulting in prosperity in all things, all the time. many of them teach that we are actually “little gods” because, after all, we were created in the image of God. Some actually going so far as to say that we are everything God is and was and will ever be.

Most of them claim to be able to physically heal people, cast out demons, make futuristic prophecies [most prophecies of which have never happened). Some claim to have taken trips to Heaven and back, receive direct and extra-Biblical revelations from God, and even supposedly had personal conversations with God. As the verses at the beginning of this chapter say, these "preachers" profess to know God, but deny Him by what they do. They are deceivers who should not teach but do so for one reason and one reason alone. Money.

[My wife] Lori was duped by two of these false teachers, Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer. Two of the lesser recognized false teachers, especially amongst evangelical Christians. I went through a time where I was sick, nothing life threatening but was a season of life where illness did plague the body for the good part of a year. I fell into the trap of watching Joel Osteen every Tuesday night and reading his book. I bought into the lie of if I just quoted to myself that “I am a victor and not a victim” that I would start to overcome this illness eventually.

I would continually do self-affirmations that Joel was pumping at me from the television screen, all the while living in total rebellion to my Lord. I had no real understanding of God’s sovereignty and that possibly the reason I was sick was that it was the work of God in my life for a reason. That thought never crossed into my mind. I heard over and over that God doesn’t want us to be sick and miserable. but that He wants us to live a victorious life. Had I been in the word of God I would [have] quickly realized this wasn’t lining up with the life of the apostles at all and those men were hand picked by the Lord.

Their lives got worse as it wen ton, they were persecuted, they were homeless, poor, in prison, and yet they were blessed and cared for. These were the truths I needed to be rooted in, yet I wasn’t. I was busy letting a self-help guru on the screen tell me that I was going to feel better if I just believed enough. Where is there any valid Scripture that backs that up? There isn’t. We are not promised a good and easy life on this side of eternity, but we are promised in Matthew 28:20 that “lo I am with you always even to the end of the age.”

After the Lord eventually healed me over time, nothing that I did obviously, I turned to another false teacher unknowingly. This time not only was truth being twisted but it was from an authority who was not even fit to be teaching, Joyce Meyer. [W]omen [should not be] acting as pastors as defined in 1 Timothy 3:2 [and] are not to be exercising the authority of that role. Titus 1:6 states clearly the qualifications of a pastor, see below the text and how a woman cannot fit into this criteria for the office of pastor:

“namely, if any man is above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion.”

[Lori] I used to watch Joyce Meyer every morning before I was saved and [fed] on her quick wit and sassy style. I used to think, “she’s just telling it like it is!” I remember thinking her “sermons” on the battle in your mind were just phenomenal. She was telling me how to just get over it and move on. It was a much starker difference than Joel. Joel was happy and feel good. Joyce was no-nonsense no frills just cut to the core motivation. She was teaching a false gospel of the little gods lesson as Vince mentioned above.

I had emailed asking for prayer during that time and not but a few weeks later did I get things in the mail from her ministry basically forcing an “offering” and that in order to continue being blessed, I needed to return money in the envelope that was sent. That happened repeatedly until I moved from that address. Many women who love that strong willed nature in a female buy into Joyce Meyer and all that she is selling. That is not the character of a godly woman,… Vince never really had any interest in most of the TV preachers. I never watched much TV anyway.

I did watch some of the more minor, non-heretical, not as popular teachers, but I never got into Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, or any of the other heretics on TV. However, before God graciously saved me, I could have watched them and probably not have given much thought to it. I probably would have thought some of it was strange…but heresy? I didn’t even know the word “heresy” existed until a couple of years ago. I surely did not know how deep and dark their teaching really goes, and how especially evil these men and women are. Justin Peters and his ministry [Justin Peters Ministries] really opened my eyes to most of that.

This movement is not only dangerous to the souls of many who are being falsely converted, but who are also being led in universal communions. We were witness to this concept at a Benny Hinn Crusade in Dallas, Texas in September. People were coming down the aisle in droves to get saved and were led in a universalistic communion. They were not told to examine themselves in light of Scripture in the biblical sense; it was completely twisted into believing that if you took the sacraments it would heal you from within. Dangerous beyond words.

There was a two-fold problem with this event, turning out false converts and then in the next minute leading them into communion that was not understood in the purest sense. This movement is sweeping the nation and the world and the people are so hungry for “something more” in their lives, they buy into this culture of health, wealth, and even fame for the exchange of all that they have. Among those already listed, a few of the more well known television preachers supporting this movement are as follows: Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Creflo Dollar, T.D. Jakes, Paula White, Jessie Duplantis and several others.[1]

Soaking is simply spending time in God’s Presence, rather than striving in prayer. It’s about resting in His Presence, experiencing Him and choosing to be intimate with Him.God desires that we would know Him. We were each created in His image, created with a need for relationship. God made it possible for each of us to have relationship with Him by sending His son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins,While we base our theology on the Bible, our experiences with God make the truth come alive in our lives. When we soak we focus on Him. Soaking puts us in a position where we are often more able to hear His voice and receive His love. It is also an opportunity for us to pour out our hearts to Him It’s about living in and enjoying an on-going relationship with our creator. As people have soaked in God’s Presence, they have experienced profound heart changes. Their marriages have been healed, their fears dispelled, depressions and sicknesses have left and lives have been transformed. http://www.catchthefire.com/soaking

I ask that you please be careful when getting yourselves involved with people from those circles. (NAR/Charismatics/Third Wave) My life and mental health has been ruined as a result, and many people have gone off to even kill themselves, because it is that severe. There are counterfeit, mind control, jezebel and witchcraft demons operating in those circles, I don’t know if you believe in such things but it is the truth. Be very careful please. People in those circles come off as zombie like. I feel so ill at ease at their meetings. It’s like everything is very artificial. It’s all about who knows who, who’s the most spiritual, about becoming the next hot leader, about building ministries and making money. Jesus is not even preached and if He is, it’s a mere detail. There is a lot of “honoring” going on between leaders but no honor for Jesus. There is a lot of error, beating up of the sheep. It’s bad to have natural feelings, it’s like it’s a bad thing. Feeling is bad, questioning is bad, everything is bad. The result is you get clones who talk the same and rehash the same scriptures out of context and quotes without having a personal relationship with God nor understanding what it is they talk about. It’s a grave sin to even question anything leadership says and does, but then you hear bad things…very bad things. Even some instances where women have been abused, young girls molested but the leader is still the untouchable anointed one and keep getting invited in those talk shows where everyone wants to be, equivalent to Leno or Oprah, I don’t know. There is a lack of basic human emotions. You never hear “sorry I was wrong”, “sorry about that”, “Oh I made a mistake” It’s just all very artificial and cold and fake. Even the people in the world have more feelings and love and authenticity, sad to say. The LORD JESUS HIMSELF has asked me to QUESTION everything I hear esp. from books and so-called preachers and apostles. We spend time talking for hours and I ask Him one question after the next. Even things that the average Christian would find offensive, but HEY…God is not offended. And HE ALWAYS ANSWERS and makes sure I understand. And the answer is not what you hear in most churches. I feel bad for people who think they know the truth but truly are very empty inside. Jesus died so we could have a PERSONAL relationship with HIM, not emulate and idolize a leader. Yes we can encourage but sadly today, the line between real wholesome encouragement and idol worship has become blurred.

The reason some are angry, mean and arrogant is because they are empty inside and have no relationship with Jesus Christ.

Be careful you’ve been warned. It’s not a game.

Briefly, all the (Third Wave) ministries involved so far, i.e. Mike Bickle of IHOP, Todd Bentley , (John Arnott) and Rick Joyner have all been influenced by the strange spirituality of Bob Jones Jones who claims that he goes to heaven "three times every day as part of his rapture exercises”, as well as the ministry of William Branham who whilst alive claimed that the zodiac and pyramids had as much spiritual authority as the bible. We therefore need to urgently test this latest “move of God”, its leaders and its spirituality, with discernment and against scripture.

1 Jn 4; 1 “do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God”.

Asking the Lord what this meant, I received the understanding that the flood-tide signified a coming wave of deception; it was not the first and it would recede, but it would not be the last and further more potent waves of deception would come. Those who remained happily in the water were deceived by the fleshy appeal... of what was happening to them, and their failure to discern the true nature of it and withdraw would mean that they would be easily swept into the next wave when it came, and further deceived

So why do the leadership John Arnott, Steve Long, Fred Wright and Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship destroy marriages, families and churches, sue a Christian for $ 50 million dollars in secret and request of many justices that innocent Walter Kambulow be incarcerated in a civil matter?

Because they are not true Christians but “Demons From Hell,” sons of hell, and sons of disobedience! Otherwise if they were true Christians and men of God they would be healing marriages, relationships and people and Pastor Jack Frost would not have died prematurely even though he was prayed for by the slanderer and senior Pastor Steve Long!

Of course Pastor John Arnott, would not tell us who are ordinary Christians and who don’t lie, divorce, steal, fabricate evidence, commit perjury and obstruct justice, how Pastors John Arnott, Steve Long, Fred Wright and Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship who do these evil and wicked things can be considered men of God never mind super Apostles?
