Yesterday, in a meeting with my dad's doctor, he said, "so, no matter what, this cancer is going to take me, right?" asking the doc.
I couldn't stop myself. I said, "Dad, don't worry, you could still get hit by a bus before that."
He laughed. Mom laughed. I was just uncomfortable. :-/
