22nd Dec 2010 from Twitlonger

Here's my question for anyone who went to the 10/20/94 Phish show. The version of Hood from that show is my all-time fav and I always wondered why the crowd exploded at the 10:28 mark. Trey plays this one note that changes the whole tenor of the jam. Was the crowd really that tuned into what was going on that they reacted to one single - albeit awesome - note Trey played? I must've listened to this version of Hood a hundred times and anyone who attended the show who I asked about the crowd's reaction had no idea what I was talking about. I know it's a long-shot, but can any Twibe members clue me in on what made the crowd react the way it did?
