@NIACouncil Rips @washtimes but fails to show mentioned COURT Documents that reveal @TParsi & company hiding NED Funds #Iranelection

On Wednesday April 14, 2010 the Washington Times printed this article; 'VOA Voice Of Mullahs' http://is.gd/bsoJZ and on Thursday April 15, 2010 NIAC responded with this statement; 'The Contradictory Voices of the Washington Times' http://bit.ly/9dZURE In NIAC's statement they mention court documents as follows in this excerpt.

'In late 2009, Eli Lake, of the Times, did a story about NIAC using documents that were obtained in a court proceeding and made available to the Times by another entity, not NIAC. Using these court documents, the Times ran a front page “exclusive” story.'

'While riddled with other inaccuracies, Lake's article did at least accurately report that: "Between 2002 and 2007, NIAC received a little less than $200,000 from the National Endowment for Democracy to build the capacity of Iranian nongovernmental organizations.” NIAC received these funds to do capacity building and exchanges with Iranian grassroots organizations – none of them were fronts for the Iranian regime and NED was fully informed on all of our activities.'

While NIAC mentions the 'court documents' they evade actually posting the 'court documents' in question thus avoiding any embarrassing questions by the readers of both articles. While NIAC ridicules the Washington Times, they fail to show the public their own conspiracy of how they were going to go about hiding un-used funds obtained from the National Endowment for Democracy as shown here. http://bit.ly/bZdAMU

It also seems that the Washington Times isn't the only news source questing Parsi's motives as can be seen here in the American Chronicle. http://bit.ly/coF22Y

You obviously do not follow Iranian Satellite TVs - good for you. The only Good thing you miss is Alireza Meybodi - on Pars TV. He has several patriot Iranians who work with him and are regulars on his program. One is Farhad Mansourian an Economist who has been closely following the Alavi Foundation court case from day 1, providing detailed reports on the proceedings a couple of times per month. In his last report he explained how the US National Security Court is now taken over the case, reviewing all IRR financial and lobby activities in USA. NIAC and Parsi are under investigation because of direct communications with Zarif. An interesting fact is that the $250 million in penalties that Lloyd's of London recently agreed to pay, was as a result of the same investigations. If you see a sudden change in the attitudes of Parsi and many other IRR lobby crowds - it may have a lot to do with the seriousness of the ongoing investigations. Just an observation.

BTW - the NS court also ordered freezing of a San Francisco bank account a couple of weeks ago - with $2 billion in it.

I didn't read anywhere that the Washington Times is under Federal Investigation or has misappropriated any funds. I also don't understand how some Iranians can go to Israel and get sent to prison for it when they return to Iran; yet you Mr. Parsi, can walk right into Iran unscathed after doing the same thing. It does make people wonder who you work for, and what you are up to. Your own 'court documents' actually show how deceptive you and your fellow comrades really are, and that is why your integrity is questioned. In the future you may want to review your own transgressions before you start pointing the finger at others.

Sincerely,
