Leaving NAVI

Recently I made one of the hardest decisions in my life - to resign from the position of NAVI Valorant and PUBG team manager.

2022 brought huge changes to many people's lives. With the start of Russian Ukrainian war #StandWithUkraine I realized that I can't and I don't want to live in Russia anymore so I moved to South Korea looking for a new home. I fell in love with this country and its people (probably being ethnically Korean had something to do with it^^ I also "blame" the food☺️ man, if you ever tried Korean food you know what I mean). I've continued working remotely as much as I could (despite 7-8 hour difference) till the point where it became impossible. So I've come to a very hard decision.

NAVI will always be a big part of my life and professional career💛🖤 The amount of experience and knowledge I got over the past 5 years have shaped me into a specialist I am today. From a rookie manager to the person who've managed both male and female rosters in several PC and mobile esports titles. In this regards, my special gratitude belongs to Yevhen Zolotarev, who gave me this chance to become a team manager in the first place, who trusted and believed in me enough and I will never forget about it.

I am extremely grateful for all the people I met on my way. My team members - who I always believed in and did my best to provide them with the biggest support, celebrating their victories more than my own. My colleagues - who helped me and supported me, who grew with me and challenged me, I will miss our daily interactions, guys. Our fans - who have shown us immense love and support and also taught me how to balance between listening to public opinion and not giving in to public criticism when things don't go your way.
I'm grateful for all the experience and challenges I've faced, they only made me stronger and, as I hope, wiser.

Now is absolutely the best and worst time to leave as our club got into Valorant franchise and our PUBG team has recently become world champions. However, this makes me more happy than sad - the realization that I played my part in this success and the confidence that both the club and my teams will do great in future.

I'm excited about what the future holds for me.
Firstly, I'm planning to go on a full vacation - something I wasn't able to afford for many years. I feel in great need to restore my mental and physical energy (all fellow managers all over the world can probably relate to that) ^^

Meanwhile, I'm planning to dive into learning Korean language and Korean culture, something I'm deeply interested in these days and something that should help me to settle in the new place.

I'm gonna listen to myself and will try to find the next best thing for me.
I'm in no rush but at same time I know that I will be back soon :)

Thank you for being a wonderful part of my life #navination
It was a great run.

I wish everyone GL&HF in 2023🫰
