Cloud 9 White
It’s been a journey getting here today.
Now that C9 White is parting ways, I’ve never been more grateful for the experience of being on one of the best GC teams. Starting from the bottom with MAJKL, and being signed to Cloud9 at the age of 16, it was an experience I’ll never forget. I want to thank Cloud9 for giving MAJKL a chance, laying a foundation within the GC scene, and helping us to show we are capable of competing at a high-tier level. I am forever grateful and fortunate for the support Cloud9 has given me to start a career in esports.
I couldn’t have done it alone either. To my teammates, Mel, Lexi, Kat, Annie, and Bob: Thank you guys for pushing me to become a better player and even a better person. It’s been an honour to be your teammate and see how far you’ve all grown individually and as players. It’s crazy how much we accomplished together in 2 years. Being undefeated 7x GC Champions in NA, to beating Top tier 2 teams is an accomplishment no one can take away.
To our coaches, Moon, Dream, Vapen, and Vexel: I’ve learned so much from our time together. I wouldn’t be at my skill level without your support and the confidence you showed in me.
As for my future, I am still young and plan on competing until I reach my goals. I’ve learned so much over these past 2 years. I will take this experience and set an example for future teammates re: the hard work and commitment required to become the best. I’m determined to keep grinding and learning every day. My journey doesn’t end here, it has just begun.
To the fans: I want to thank you for your support since the MAJKL days. I sincerely appreciate you believing in us and cheering us on these past 2 years. Most importantly, I hope you’ll continue to support each of our individual journeys in 2023. I love you all.
