Yesterday night shortly after I arrived here in Abu Dhabi I got the news, that my father had past away. It was very sudden as nothing seemed out of the ordinary when I said goodbye to him the night before when I left to catch my plain.
I feel no need to share anything about my relationship with my dad besides the fact that I loved him. The only reason I am sharing this to let people know at the event why I might not be as excited to see them or just in general act the way I normally do.
I have decided to stay and play the tournament since that's what my family wants me to do and I hope for it to create some kind of distraction for me.
Thank you all for your support so far and remember to give your loved ones a hug next time you see them. ♥️
