Today, we regret to announce that Elevate can no longer compete at the Six Charlotte Major.
Despite joint efforts with the team and our tournament organizer to facilitate and speed up their visa application process to enter the United States, their request has been denied.
Without the possibility for them to get a visa to enter Mexico in time for the beginning of the competition and in order to preserve the competitive integrity of this international competition, we took the difficult decision to remove the team from the Six Charlotte Major. With the competition starting this Monday, Elevate will not be replaced and the competition will proceed with 15 teams.
Elevate will receive the share of the total prize pool corresponding to a 13th to 16th ranking in the competition alongside 50 SI points. Our teams are currently working on reshaping the competitive format and schedules for 15 teams. More details will be shared soon.
