Become_Fumo explained.

Hi everyone! Never thought I'd make this, but because of how kind the creator of BecomeFumo (scary08) has been to me and my practices, I've decided you all deserve to know the backstory of how this all started. Again, thanks so much scary08 for being so kind! I've always been scorned for my pratices, so I'm grateful to see someone being so nice to me :)

So, it all started when AspreyArchive made a video on BecomeFumo and it popped up on my Youtube recommendations, that was the first time I heard of the game. I've been playing Roblox since 2012, but my old account got hacked. But I remembered I made a newer account, GarSunn, back in 2018, so that's what I used.

The game really amazed me. I saw the models, and because I'm a Smash Ultimate modeler, figured they be perfect over Villager. There's a lot of MMD models that have human proportions, but it's hard to fine rare chibi ones since stuff like Bowlroll files have incomprehensible passwords or are dead links.

So I scrolled on Twitter and found someone making a tweet about how they were reporting an account called @BecomeFumo. I had never heard of that account until now, so I went on it and found they were uploading Become Fumo models! That same person was also mocking the account, so it just made me ever more passionate to support the @BecomeFumo account. Unfortunately, they had some time-limited model release, so I was late by 3 hours. So I followed them and eagerly await until the next timed they would release the models.

In the meantime, I haven't played Roblox in a while, so I searched on Youtube and Fiverr in hopes of finding someone who could rip the game assets for me. Yep, surprise, but I can't actually rip assets from this game! I found someone on Fiverr, paid them, and they ripped the original Feb 11 2021 map for me! I also found a person advertising their services in the Youtube comments of a video, so I contacted them on Discord. I trusted them, gave them Roblox.

The next day came, and suddenly my "Following" amount dropped from 158 to 157. Shocked, I went to my bookmarks and found that @BecomeFumo had deleted the account and that scary08 posted some whole Twitter posts about how there was some billibilli Chinese account and whatever. At the time, I was incredibly angry. My one chance to get the models from the game, gone.

So I created the @become_fumo account. and posted the Feb 11 2021 map in the hopes I could somehow awaken the original people behind the @becomefumo account who disappeared so suddenly without warning and have them give the models to me. So yeah, I have literally no affiliation with the original @BecomeFumo account lol. I just figured I'd take advantage of the confusion and act like I was them to get some bargaining power or something.

The person I had contacted from Discord had messaged me (different time zones) and, surprise, they weren't a scammer! They sent me a new map (nighttime), the Feb 12 2021 map, that had the 4 new models in it. So I posted that literally just a moment ago. I also just noticed that the username "GarSunn" was on the top left corner of the Roblox Studio (oof), so yeah I just leaked myself.

To increase the framerate on OBS, I record my videos in .FLV format. However, Adobe Premiere for whatever reason doesn't support this so I was stuck with a video were I accidentally leaked my Twitter account and no way to remove the end. I figured people already knew anyways considering the "GarSunn" leak from the day before, so I posted it anyways.

And then suddenly scary08 responded! Surprisingly polite and nice about it. I've used a lot of alt accounts in the past and I've always been treated with dislike and mocked. But scary08, I'm truly touched by your words. Thank you... so much. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. If anyone else has any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them too!

As I answer this, my supplier from Discord has just given me another model with Sanae on it, so I'll be releasing that map too!
