Exactly. The defeat of GHWB led to the end of rational immigration policies in the GOP. Racism and xenophobia grew the GOP from 92 forward, and Obama’s candidacy + the Internet accelerated it. Trump just ran the ball into the White Nationalist end zone. And now he’s QB of the GOP.
