Disqualified from Invitational Qualifiers
So, we have been accused for cheating, and Im gonna talk about what happened, and what led to our DQ.
So, let's start with the beginning. In the first 2 matches we played without MOSS, since everyone of us got MOSS issues, so we thought that MOSS is malfunctioning, like you can see here: imgur.com/DMpJsdi . We didnt know that redownloading solves the issue, but as they clarified with us, all of us downloaded and used MOSS in the following match(es). We got a warning at this point, and I think it was fair.
On the third match, we played against Liven-Renshiro-Voy-Joghurtzz-Falko team, and surprisingly we won on Bank 8-7. We didnt have any matches that day, so we went to sleep, and the next day we saw that they protested us. Here are the screenshots: imgur.com/a/JqubcF0 . They clearly stated that we are cheating without any clear evidence.
The next paragraph only shows the corruptness of ESL (or at least some people working there), doesnt have to do anything with the things above and below.
The next match had to be finished until 19:00 CET. So, it should have been started around 17:45-18:00. We tried to contact them on Wire chat, and under the match page, but they didnt answer. So I opened a protest at 18:15, stating that the opponent isnt showing up. Here are the screenshots: imgur.com/a/ZSJObOX . We got a draw, even though we showed up way before and the enemy didnt. (The enemy team was English, and the admin was also English, what a coincidence).
So, back to the matches. Our next match got casted by Sternab (kudos for him, I like his casting, twitch.tv/sternab ), and you can watch it back here ( twitch.tv/videos/361796885 ) . I made a mistake, and I forgot to turn on my MOSS in the first 2 rounds, but I turned it in immediately as I noticed. We won that match 7-2. After that, we got another protest, because we were "using" teamviewer, screenshots here: imgur.com/a/CkwZd6O .
Those softwares are background processes, as you can see here: imgur.com/a/bsYeTRb . From our team, Kapcsi has Virtual Machine. He is working as a System Administrator, and its mandatory for his work (you can see a picture about it on his instagram here: instagram.com/kapcsir6s, but it also was a background process, so basically it does nothing, just as our Teamviewers. The admin clearly stated that it is not against the rules, thus no problemo so far.
Next, they stated that there is smtg wrong with my MOSS. As I said, it has been a mistake by my side, because I forgot to turn it on for the 1st 2 rounds. In the rules, 2 missing rounds still counts as complete: "if more than 2 rounds of the file are missing the file counts as incomplete.", as you can see it in the rules. The other thing stated, that my MOSS parameter wasnt set to R6, instead it was set to "Generic Game". It is certainly true, Im not denying it, but it is stated NOWHERE, that it has to be on R6, and in the past, it has never been a problem that we used "Generic Game" instead of R6 parameter. I even questioned Petsch about his decision, but no answer was given until this point (its 21:42 CET atm as im writing)
Im not hating on anyone, but please, especially Liven, Renshiro, Voy, Falko, Joghurtzz, dont spread hate without real facts, because you can basically crash our motivation and everything with your huge follower base, with your cheating accusation, while we are just some young guys trying to be better with no real follower base. Since still nothing was proved against us.
To summarize, we only got DQ-d for MOSS "failures" (that shouldnt have been resulted in a DQ at all, as I stated before from the rules), nothing ever was found that suspected a cheater in our team.
