It has been a long journey

With this announcement, I feel betrayed. All this work that I have put in just vanished. And I don't just speak for myself because there are several other pros/amateurs that are experiencing the same thing. Especially Scythe who worked so hard to basically getting nowhere. If anything I should be grateful that I was able to experience the whole thing. From an open player to playing at the big stage of Blizzcon. Meeting fans & being with the org that brought me here. There were certainly high expectations for being a Tempo member but I felt like we did great with what we had. Shoutouts to Tempo Storm for everything. There are too many things to name so I'm just going to say ty for everything :). Glad y'all were the first org I was able to represent. #RedBullFam

After Blizzcon & taking it easy for a while, I received several offers. There were several teams that I wanted to join based solely on personality. If we could have fun together as friends, we could work hard together as teammates. Endemic really enticed me and having been their friends already, I knew how the team atmosphere and dynamic was going to be. The roster would have consisted of ViN, Daneski, Bkid, BigE, & Liam. A lot of people had doubts about Liam and I certainly did when I was going to join the team... but his work ethic & his map awareness really proved me wrong. It took me like one whole block to basically convince me this was THE guy who was going to prove a lot of people wrong. Not only that... every team looked strong. TF, LFM, TS, and a couple others that we scrimmed. This was going to be the season that we were going to have to work hard for because our competitors were nutty but I guess it doesn't matter anymore T_T.

I still don't know how to feel about all of this. I'm sad and it feels like there is a hollow void I simply cannot fill. HotS still is and was one of the best games I've played. Just everything about it enticed me to work my ass off for one whole year just to get to my first debut as a pro. The aspects of short game times, the mechanics & fundamentals, the carries actually having to skillfully outplay opponents instead of having to farm just to carry, & just something simple as having the blizzard characters all in one game.

I'm glad I was able to be a part of this community. It's like a tight-knit family. Without HotS, I wouldn't have met [List every person who I have interacted with and not forget any names because I dont want to single anyone out]. I started listing every person I could think of and still would have missed several names so I opted to state it like that xD.

Moving forward, the majority of the team is sticking together in this new journey. We probably are going to playtest several games to get a feel for it. I'm not done with competing and I'm assuming many of the pros from HotS feel the same way about it. I'll still be here but will no longer associate myself with HotS. If I do, it probably will only be for the nostalgia.

HotS, bb grill, if you want to come back I'll forgive you. It's not me, it's you and sadly... it's best if we part ways.

Until next time,

ViN <3
