HGG Disqualification

I have been disqualified from the Hearthstone Global Games.

Whatever I say in this tweet, I already proved it to Blizzard with screenshots.

As some of you might know, my name is Dzhengiz "Jengo" Kadir and I was the anchor of Team Bulgaria in HGG.

It happened in the first match of top 16, when we were playing against Netherlands. A friend of mine told me about a website where I can bet online for eSports. I never ever gambled for eSports before, I registered to this website the same day I gambled. Bulgaria had a higher % for winning, and since I was confident in my team, I decided to gamble for Bulgaria, literally just for fun. I wasn't aiming to scam by betting on Netherlands and lose it intentionally, I bet for Bulgaria and we won. I bet only 25 EUR, so no one became a millionaire in the end. I didn't know about the rule, that you can't bet for a team in which you are participating in. Two people told me about this rule, and I self-reported to Blizzard on the same day after the match. Now some people might call me stupid for doing this, because how would Blizzard understand that I gambled on a third party website? Yes, correct, they might not, but there is a risk. This risk involves my gaming career, so I decided to be honest.

Blizzard said that in general they are banning for 6-12 months for this, but since I was honest, instead they will disqualify me and leave me without any prizes.

Team Bulgaria will go to BlizzCon without me, three people. I'll be here cheering for them.
