Thank you for everything Alternate aTTaX! @ATNattax!

As of today I am no longer a part of Alternate aTTaX. I have decided to step down as coach and though the decision has been among the hardest I have ever taken in my active esport career, I am still confident that it’s the right decision even though I’m going to miss the team, the management and all the support from the german fans, journalists and organizers that I have gotten to know in the past 13 months.

For some time I have had problems with finding the balance between my job as a CS:GO teacher and the team. I have come to the conclusion that it didn’t work out for me and often during pracc, I had to leave the team early or only show up for official matches due to my work. Even though the team didn’t mind me being away so much I can’t live with myself doing something I love only 50%. I love coaching, and every aspect of it, when it comes to player management, anti-strat, analyzing and helping the team grow and improve, but with our pracc hours and my job next to it, I had to make a decision. Even though I have loved working with the team, my heart belongs to my students. For now, I will focus on my work with developing danish CS:GO players at the schools offering esport classes around the country, and helping local trainers with improving their gamesense through courses and counseling. When the time is right I will go back to coaching a team.

aTTaX has been the journey of my life! Ever since HUNDEN asked me to come with him south of the german border to try something new and build something great I have felt like I have been in the best of hands. Alternate aTTaX has, without doubt, been the most professional esport organization I have been had the pleasure of working with and I will always remember the memories I have gotten at this place. A major shoutout to NIcolai ‘HUNDEN’ Petersen who believed in me as a coach and who have given me the freedom to add principles of play and new ideas in the way I saw fit during that time.

Also to Stephan ‘Scars’ Barth who has been an amazing friend and manager during my time in the german club. From doing everything we could have ever wished for, picking us up in different airports all around the country and making sure that everything we needed has been taken care of. People like you do so much and work and hardly get recognized for the things you do! You are amazing at what you do. Keep at it! Thank you for everything!

To Alexander ‘repps0n’ Repp I would also like to give a huge shoutout. You believed in me as a coach from the beginning and you recognized with work with presenting you with the concerns from the players during the contract negotiations. You have never said no to anything we have asked for, and have always been supportive and believing - also during the times where we didn’t perform well enough.

To my lovely teammates during the past year: Tizian ‘tiziaN’ Feldbusch, Lukas ‘ecfN’ Kauer, Mads ‘Console’ Skovby, Florian ‘syrsoN’ Rische, Stefan ‘stfN’ Seier, Nils ‘k1to’ Gruhne, I want to thank each and everyone of you! We have had some awesome trips around europe together. So many memories, and I hope I will find the time to visit everyone of you again! I will be the one shouting “AUF GEEEEEHTS” in the stands at your next big event. I will be the one filming next time k1to is dominating the dancefloor, or Lukas tries to throw a ball. And if we won't see each other at an event, then we will me at the bar ;)
