Having A Sit Down (My Personal TakeAways from Queue Opening Day) -- Please Read

Okay... now that I have filled all three queue slots, I am currently processing the day. I knew I might not actually get as much work done because I needed to make sure I had everything set up and ready for these openings, plus the barrage of mail.

Speaking of email, I do feel like trying (however futile it seems my communications go) to have a metaphorical sit down and really try and be honest with you. I need to do it here because these are *my* opinions and perceptions, not Wildgasmasks.

I feel like people may assume certain things in the heat of the moment. Honestly and seriously, I take NO joy in giving people this chance to get a mask they really want... only to have to say "No" to all who get their email just *thaaat* many seconds later than the person before them. I really feel I must stress this to you guys because I do receive backlash every time I open the queue.

I don't mean just straight disappointment...but I mean people outright angry and making all sorts of blanket statements based on what they think happened. I even had to shut my Telegram because of an increase in messages where Wild Gasmask company communication is bleeding over into my personal social spaces (like Telegram is for me).

Believe me, I know that none of the things that people are saying is personal. Simply put, the demand simply exceeds supply. This is one price Stego and I pay for being realistic about our workload and avoiding burnout. I accept that this is just how its going to go.

Really, I always make sure to update the website and Twitter for real time updates and for things that require immediacy. Unfortunately not everyone will read what I put up so I do apologize in instances where it seems like I repeat myself. Also, I make a choice not to respond to anything where respect isnt on the table. It just isnt my way to give any room to outright disrespect of me or any other Wildgasmask enthusiasts who might be participating in a thread.

Know that Ill always do my best to evoke a helpful nature whenever I get behind Wildgasmasks Mission Control. Stego loves seeing all the imagination people have, centered around his vision of animal shaped gasmasks. I hold onto those moments when I can give positive news to people.

All I can ask is patience. I will be doing some catch-up in the next few days for my VANILLAJOB and SWJOB. Probably will continue to avoid Telegram and let myself re-calibrate my zen.
