Getting out of Airport
Cheapest way (45 to 50 minutes): Take MRT train to Tanah Merah Station then change to the East-West line and alight depending on where your hotel is. It should cost around SGD 3 or less.
PS:
Recommend way (30 minutes): Taxi or Grab, both are fine. Depending on timing that you arrive, it should cost you between $25 to $35. It really depends on whether it is peak hour traffic, midnight charge or not. Best is to share with a bunch of people.
Transportation/EZ Link Card:
They are sold at convenient stores and train stations. You can get them for $12 with a stored value of $7. You can only refund at the train stations though, travelling via an EZ Link card will save you just a wee bit of money compared to buying tickets from the station.
Grab and Taxi are very convenient, do note that if you are in town, you have to go to designated areas or shopping centers to get a Taxi or to meet your Grab. They are not allowed to stop on the road within town.
By foot/train:
The venue is conveniently located at Suntec Convention Center. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from the main City Hall MRT Station Exit C, so it is actually not very complicated to get there if you have an MRT Station close to your hotel. You just need to follow the directions and it is a sheltered walk underground.
Alternatively, if your hotel is situated on the Circle Line (Orange Line), you can alight at Esplanade Station which is only a 3 min walk. Take Exit A and follow directions to get to Suntec.
Once you enter Suntec via the underpass, look for the UniQlo store. As you are facing it, look to your left there is a path that leads to stores Tissot, Bering and Royce Chocolates. Make your way there and you will see an exit that leads to a drop-off point, go there and you will find escalators leading to the venue which is on the 4th floor, halls 401 to 403.
By taxi:
Just tell the taxi driver “Suntec City Convention Center” and he will get it. Please tell him to specifically alight you at the CONVENTION CENTER.
