OpTic CSGO

Hello

First of all, thanks to all the fans from all around the World that keep supporting us in the good and bad periods. In a competitive scene such as the current CSGO landscape that means a lot.

I wanted to write this statement in the light of our previous tournaments in Hong Kong and Stockholm. The losses and current form we are in are obviously disappointing despite glimpses of our former selfs. We haven’t been to reproduce the level we expect of ourselves depsite putting in a lot of work and dedication. Yes, the rumours of our lack of practice isn’t true as I’ve told everyone who’ve asked. This group of players are as motivated and talented as the best in the business, they work hard despite negative periods (such as the current one) and false rumours or comments about their performances on social media, podcasts or news. I’m proud of this group of players, no matter the task, criticism or situation (they might have fucked up) they always listen and try to learn. This is a bunch of guys I use most of my time with despite sacrifising time with my Family, I do it for one thing and one thing only, because I want to see them succeed. When we lose I’m disappointed but most of the time on their behalf, because I know the hard work and time they spent to become winners.

This is no excuse, trust me, we are doing everything possible to learn from this process and are working hard to overcome the issues currently holding us back. We are not satisfied with average or mediocrity, this is a minor setback but I trust the process we started when assembling this team. I believe in this team. You learn more about yourself in the hard times and the boys have done nothing but impress me with their eager to work their way out of it. Have faith.

Over and out,
Casper
