If you don't already know Helix Gamers League and related brands were sold to Levi Bailey on mutual terms. Levi now controls all operations within HGL. This decision was made upon recent events of failing to find a suitable investor for HGL to run effectively in future plans. As stated by Levi all plans and tournaments previously announced will not be taking place. I would like to send a sincere apology to the Evolve community for announcing tournaments that are no longer able to take place. Selling the brand has never been in my plans, but in light of recent events, selling the brand was my only option of pursuing higher education and my future. Recently HGL and myself have been in shambles regarding plans and practicality. Starting HGL in 2016 was the best feeling a 16 year old could ask for having it grow into something you woke up to and was excited to manage everyday. Watching it grow and meeting the amazing communities of countless games, talking to countless game devs, and doing interviews was all surreal. Now two years later, being 18 it makes me cringe to see the mistakes I made, but also humbles me to see my growth of knowledge for esports and business. From these two short years I have learned more about Esports, business, and communities, than I would of if I didn't start HGL. A lot of mistakes were made, a lot of games were played, a lot of good times were had. To those that I gave false hope to, I'm sorry. To those that hate my guts, Im sorry. To those companies that I turned down offers from, I’m sorry, To those communities that I was unprofessional in, I’m sorry. Lastly to everyone that supported me thank you, it was one hell of a ride.
