Update & Clarification
Hey dudes! It’s been a while since I’ve written one of these longer messages, so please bear with me as I’m going to try to be as transparent and communicative as I can about my situation.
To begin, I’d like to thank all my fans and supporters who’ve sent me kind messages on Twitter as well as on my stream. It really does mean so much to me to know I can turn my stream on and a bunch of you guys would drop in with words of encouragement.
As some of you may know, I’ve just recently played with RONIN in the NA ECS qualifiers last night and since then, joined their MDL roster following Jonji’s departure. As of right now, I am NOT under contract. I would like to make it clear to everyone that when I was asked to play, I was explicit in saying that I would be willing to help out, but only until I’m offered an opportunity on a pro team. I’ve been patient with my search for over a month now, but ultimately, I’ve decided that I would rather compete with a team, for the time being, than to sit around playing Rank S and DMing all day. Another factor in my decision is that ESL Pro League is starting so soon and it’s come to the point that waiting around for better opportunities may make things worse for me, considering most teams are unlikely to make roster changes at this time.
Nevertheless, I’m quite pleased to be playing with the dudes on RONIN. They are all good people and I trust their abilities—they’re nothing short of skilled players. I will give it my all and help these guys win in their current leagues.
In the meantime, I’ve made it a top priority to work hard on improving myself, both in-game and out. In addition to going to the gym regularly, most of my days have been long hours on deathmatch servers and Rank S(come visit me sometime @ http://twitch.tv/reltuC) . Last year was definitely a year I could have done better and I just want you guys to know I will come back stronger than ever before. Right now, there’s nothing more I want than to be at the top. Believe in me!
Thank you all again for the constant support over the years. I’ve been playing this game for quite a long time and I can’t even begin to imagine how much harder this journey would have been for me if not for my fans.
