Q : Explain a bit about your character “Knock”
Tul : Knock is a very manly-man, actually he is quite rough. He is a football player and already has a girlfriend which is Plenpleng. He and Korn grew up together since childhood, they were best friend and each other’s half. They met again after 10 years apart because they happened to study at the same faculty. It was all because of the alcohol, they had a few drinks, everything started from that night.( /laugh) After that incident, it’s all about how to deal with his emotion whether he has a feeling for Korn or not and keep it as a secret from his girlfriend.
Q : Do You and your character have any differences or similarities?
Tul : Knock is totally different from my true personality. It’s like we have switched each other’s character(with max). Knock is very straight-forward, he says what he thinks without much consideration. But personally, I am more thoughtful. I always think a lot before doing something while Max is more outspoken.
Q: When Tul have to play as Knock in togetherwithme, how do you feel about it?
Tul : Love,essentially, is beautiful. Age or gender doesn’t matter as long as you love with your true feeling. If you love with sincerity and true passion, that is a good thing, that is beautiful indeed. When I decided to play this role, i didn’t think about what people will think. Will they remember me for being gay in the series? That was not in my head, what I really considered was that this is my responsibility. I am an actor, I need to do my best and do not disappoint my fans. That is much more important.
Q : There are some kiss scenes in the series, how do you feel about that?
Tul : (/laugh) It’s different, I think, something I have never done before. But if you and someone are in a relationship and in love, no matter what gender you are, kissing each other is a good feeling. In Bad Romance, the kiss scene may seem a little bit forced but this time we can’t be shy or hesitated anymore, the script is much more intense and we have so little time to film each scene.
Q : What is your expectation in the entertainment industry?
Tul : I think I am content with everything now. I have a chance to meet with these wonderful fans of mine and able to talk with many different people. I want to give some time to myself, I graduated from faculty of Architecture and I still want to work in that field. However, I am still enjoy being an actor, actually I want to do them both so I am still figuring out how to make a balance between these two career path. Now, I would say it’s already beyond my expectation but I still want to try more, explore my ability. Maybe being a host for travel programme or playing in a period drama is a good idea.
Q : The feedback from TogetherWithMe
Tul : I was very excited to know what the audience felt. I wanted to know whether my effort would pay off or not. Would they see my improvement ? Would they enjoy the series? ,something like that. When I knew they love the series, then I was very happy to hear that. For me, it was like a reward after a long hard work.
Q : Why people need to watch this series?
Tul : At first it may seem like other boy-love’s series, but if you look closer you will see that it’s different. There is characters development which drives the series to its peak. I want people to realize that nowadays love comes in many different forms.
Max’s part
Q : Talk a little bit about your character ‘Korn’ in the series
Max : Korn grew up in a very strict family. His mom is a teacher while his big sister is a professor at the university so he lives with rules and he have never crossed the line. Normally, he is a very caring person especially with someone whom he loves Thus, he cares about Knock a lot. Knock and him grew up together and he(knock) is like a little brother to him. They live in the same neighborhood, their parents know each other. No matter what Knock has done wrong or hurted his feeling, he will try to make up with him first. Korn’s strong points are he takes his things seriously and he is a very good leader.
Q : Is Korn different or similar to you in real life?
Max : He is very different from me. Personally, I am more opened and playful. I am not as neat and tidy as him. He is a type of man who is very organized while I am a type of person who throw my shirt everywhere, my boxers is always in a messy-shaped when I take it off at home. (/laugh)
Q : How do you adapt to this character and the new series?
Max : I was very stressed. In the previous series we were not the main couple but this time we are the main focus of the series. It’s like we are the protagonists that need to keep everything together so the pressure is very high. If we fail, the whole series fails. Moreover, it’s the expectation from the fans because when they read the book, they were very into it. Thus, I was afraid that if I didn’t do it good enough they wouldn’t enjoy it. I don’t want to disappoint them and make them feel bad towards thing that they love.
Q : What do you think about love?
Max : I think,for Korn, although it’s a man to man relationship but it can’t be with any other men. It has to be Knock only in order to work. Thus, for him, gender doesn’t play that big role when it comes to loving someone. What is more important is that he loves this person no matter what gender this person is. It’s more about what feeling you have towards this particular person.
Q : What is your most valuable experience?
Max : It was when I went to the states , i felt that I had grown up so much during such a short amount of time. Because I am the youngest child in the family so everyone will especially dote on me. When I did something wrong, my mom would say that I had done it right.(/laugh) But during the time I lived in US, there was no such thing, when you did something wrong then you had to be responsible for that. That experience made me learn many new things, I had to adapt to new environment so when I came back my dad told me that I have become much more mature than before, my attitude changed and he was very pleased to see that improvement.
Q : What do you expect from the entertainment industry?
Max : I don’t have any expectation in this industry, but I expect in things that I have done. No matter what I do, I feel that I have to gain something back from doing it. If you are an actor then you need to make people recognize you. When you decided to do something, you need to give it your best shot without holding back. I think that is very important.
Q : Why do people need to watch Togetherwithme?
Max : Firstly, the cast and the crew have been working so hard for this series. Everyone had put a lot of effort into this work. While shooting, I see that the cast have jotted down every reason they came up to for their characters. Besides, this series is different from other series out there because we chose to portray it in a more real and detailed way. I want people to try to have a look at our series. The situations that happen in the series is something that is really happening in our everyday life, for example, falling in love with you best friend. I think almost everyone has this kind of experience before so it’s very relatable.

When he was asked to talk about his colleague Max said :
I have been working with P’Tul for years now. He is the one who gave me the most (valuable lesson, experience. Etc.) I have everything today because of his advice. I have received a lot of good things from him, some of his fans become my fans and support me too. If it was another person who played this character, I wouldn’t be this comfortable. I am very grateful for him, to me. He is Mr. Nice guy and Mr. Yes man. If I ask, he will give me anything. He is a very very good big brother.
