MEGA enters Vietnam
PRESS RELEASE - MEGA ESports announces its first entry into Vietnam with the acquisition of one of the premier DOTA 2 rosters, Next Gen Aorus
2nd February - MEGA ESports, is excited to announce the acquisition of one of the top ranked DOTA 2 rosters in Vietnam, Next Gen Aorus. MEGA Esports will be acquiring the roster, along with certain assets from Next Generation Electronic Sports Company Ltd, based in Ho Chi Minh City. Next Gen Aorus was formed in 2015 and have consistently ranked at the top of the Vietnam DOTA 2 pro circuit. The team will be renamed MEGA Aorus and will be trained and housed in MEGA's facilities in Ho Chi Minh City. The acquisition represents MEGA Esports' initial entry into Vietnam, expanding the Company's geographic footprint. MEGA Aorus joins MEGA's talented rosters in Thailand, which include MEGA Overwatch and MEGA (League of Legends), formerly known as the Bangkok Titans.
