Important Changes Regarding the Mac Nation Power Ranking V4
Hey everyone!
As the season goes on and wins rack-up left and right, we have decided to make two important changes to the MN PR v4.
1. SEASON LENGTHS
While we are keeping the twice-a-year format to the PR, we are changing the dates for when each season starts/ends. From now on, instead of each season starting/ending at Genesis and EVO, they will start/end as follows:
JANUARY 1st - JUNE 30th: Winer + Spring
JULY 1st - DECEMBER 31st: Summer + Fall
What does this mean exactly? In short, we are matching the MN PR with regional PR seasons. Traditionally, a region's season would last 3 months, starting from the 1st of the first month and ending on the last day of the last month (so for the Fall season, it'd be from October 1st to December 31st). However, since the MN PR would start/end during Genesis and EVO, this would bleed into other seasons and make getting/managing wins awkward, inconvenient, etc. So we are matching it with regional PRs to make it easier for everyone.
This means that starting NOW, the Mac Nation PR v4 will take results from post-EVO to December 31st, and all future MN PRs will follow the format stated above.
2. RESULTS SUBMISSION
With this current PR, we have decided to open up a form to let players submit results on their own! Keeping track of results from majors and such is one thing, but finding results and wins from local regions is much more complicated. So we are allowing players to submit results by themselves.
