-I heard you recently attended the 'Crocs Styling Day' event as a global ambassador.
YOONA: It was a very global event. There were lots of people from, not just our country, but Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Philippine, who expressed the unique appeal of Crocs. I was able to feel the meaning of the Crocs campaign slogan, 'Come As You Are', at the event, and it was a place where I felt a sense of accomplishment as an ambassador.
-Your stylish fashion always stands out. I'm curious what your favorite style is out of all the various looks.
YOONA: I like comfortable styles with the focus point on my shoes. Crocs, with their colors and stylish design, becomes an 'it' item that fits my style preference. You can complete the very simple 'Yoona style' with a white t-shirt, slim-fit denim pants, and Crocs.
-Of the many tips introduced at the 'Crocs Styling Day' event, which is one that could be used for this F/W season?
YOONA: I think nowadays, it's a time where there are frequent outdoor activities. I want to recommend Crocs 'CitiLane Roka Graphic Slip-Ons', which you can wear comfortably for a long time. It's a classic slip-on with flashy flower prints. If you match things with slip-ons as the 'point item', you can complete a comfortable yet intimate look.
-I heard you've been a main force in letting the charms of Crocs become known lately. What made you fall so hard for Crocs shoes?
YOONA: It's because of the campaign, 'Come As You Are', which respects individuals' special charms 'as is'. Me as I am, us as we are can be liked and confident. This value of Crocs touched my heart.
-What shoes expresses your own personality?
YOONA: The item for the changing seasons that has been receiving love, 'Crocs Leigh Wedge Suede Mix Bootie'. It's a favorite because they're comfortable yet fashionable, and suit daily looks well.
-What do you want to recommend to match with those shoes?
YOONA: Booties suit any look, but of those, I want to introduce a date look. If you match booties with a light, chiffon skirt, the line that shows through the skirt looks really charming. If it's a date celebrating an anniversary, a black mini dress is nice, too. If you add in edgy booties with a black mini dress that shows off its fit, it can become a chic look. I heard guys' hearts flutter when they see this kind of new appearance from women.
-Do you have anything to say about being active as a global ambassador for Crocs?
YOONA: Crocs have a more important value than being comfortable. Always expressing yourself comfortably and confidently. I think that's the real story of Crocs. Even next year, as the global ambassador of Crocs, I will think of the unique beauty and individuality preciously, and I want to spread the message to love yourself to many more people.
